Katherine Fleet is Head of Sustainability and Circularity at RECOUP, the UK’s leading independent authority and trusted voice on plastics resource efficiency and recycling, founded in 1990.

Katherine has over 12 years’ experience working in sustainability functions within the plastics industry and holds a BSc in Biology and Geography and an MSc in Environmental Science and Management.

Previous experience includes work on corporate sustainability strategy, sustainability reporting and communications, and developing partnerships along the plastics value chain to address industry wide challenges.

Katherine was responsible for producing the inaugural edition of the RECOUP ‘Reusability by Design’ guidance, as a workstream of the UKRI funded TRACE (Technology-enabled Reusable Assets for a Circular Economy), which aims to assist stakeholders with the design of reusable plastic packaging.
