John Twitchen is a Founder of Stuff4Life, a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and has spent the last thirty years in and around the waste and resources sector.
He studied environmental science at University, and worked in industry and consultancy before going on to set up one of the first communications agencies dedicated to sustainability.
John recently founded Stuff4Life with Uni pal Miles Watkins and together with Teesside University, they have developed a patent-pending technology for polyester fabric depolymerisation and have formed a JV with Arco (Stuff4Life Workwear) to upscale and commercialise the solution.
John is working on a number of other technical solutions to modern world challenges together with Miles, both practicing their combined mantras: action speaks louder than words, and don’t let the excellent get in the way of the good.
In his spare time, John is a BMX coach and rides bikes.
